Coaching & Integration
General information
FORTE stands for support, orientation, resources, training and empowerment. We developed the program for the area of professional and social (re)integration. It offers individual job coaching with a weekly job application workshop (small group or one-to-one tuition). Discussions and clarifications are conducted on the basis of coaching and counseling methods and can be supplemented by intercultural interpreters in over 60 languages if required.

The program pursues the goal of sustainable professional and social integration of the participants. During the integration process, we actively support our participants by helping them to recognize their own strengths and resources and successfully integrate them into the job market.
Job-seeking migrants, with and without a refugee background and resident in the canton of Baselland. The participants are registered with social welfare and have a C, B, S, F, L permit or Swiss nationality. Participants require specific individual support in the integration process due to their more complex life situation, their migration history and/or their cultural background.

As coaches, we create a trusting and respectful consulting atmosphere that reflects our values. We work on an equal footing and are keen to establish a working relationship that respects the autonomy of the participants and the social workers in the communities. We work in a solution- and resource-oriented way. The focus is not on the causes of the problem, but on finding solutions. The focus is not on their deficits, but on discovering the resources that are of central importance in coping with the situation.
