Entry possible at any time at short notice. Renewal or termination possible (the first month will be charged). The program is recognized by the Cantonal Social Welfare Office of Baselland. 50% for welfare recipients. 100% for refugees, temporarily admitted persons and status S.

Translation rates are calculated based on the text volume of the finished translation. The scope is determined by counting the number of keystrokes.

CHF 4.80 per line of text (incl. VAT)

The minimum rate is CHF 45.

Amharic, Arabic, Persian (Dari, Farsi), Tamil, Thaland and Tigrin to 40 characters.

Chinese, Japanese and Korean to 24 keystrokes.

Remaining languages at 55 keystrokes.

The processing time is approx. 7 working days. Express orders (on request), which must be delivered within 3 working days, are subject to a surcharge of 35%.

ald members: CHF 90.- per hour (incl. VAT)

Non-members: CHF 105.- per hour (incl. VAT)

The rates are calculated according to the duration of use and are rounded up to the nearest quarter of an hour. A reduced rate of 50% will be charged for booked and unused working time.

The minimum assignment duration is one hour. The duration of use over one hour is rounded up to 15 minutes.

For short-term orders within 24 hours, an express surcharge of CHF 40 per assignment is payable. Weekends and public holidays are excluded from the 24-hour period.

Travel expenses are charged at a flat rate of CHF 37.50 (incl. VAT). From 100 km (from the interpreter's home address to the place of assignment and back), the travel time is charged at CHF 50/hour plus the 2nd class ticket.

No additional travel expenses will be charged for waiting times of less than 30 minutes for several assignments with the same customer.

For special preparatory work (reading contracts, etc.), a rate reduced by 50% is applied.

The minimum duration for telephone interpreting is half an hour. A fee of CHF 20 is charged for telephone appointments made by interpreters.

Cost calculation

Referring agencies always pay the full cost price. If you pay yourself and live in the canton of Basel-Landschaft and have a B, C, S, F or CH permit, you will automatically receive a 20% discount on the course price. Further reductions are possible depending on household income.
