Our translation service offers you professional written translations in around 60 languages. Inexpensive, officially certified and recognized by the cantonal authorities. We also translate internal and external documents for companies, authorities and institutions.
Translation rates are calculated based on the text volume of the finished translation. The scope is determined by counting the number of keystrokes. Arabic, Farsi, Tamil, Thai and Tigrinya are calculated with 40 characters, Chinese with 24 characters and all other languages with 55 characters per line of text.
CHF 4.80 per line of text (incl. VAT)
The minimum charge is CHF 45.
Express orders (on request), which must be delivered within 3 working days, are subject to a surcharge of 35%.
We accept your documents in person, by post, by e-mail or by fax. The processing time is 7 to 10 days. Larger documents and express orders by arrangement. Private individuals pay the invoice in cash on collection. Companies, authorities and institutions receive an invoice.
If the client cancels the order for the production of a translation, he is obliged to pay the costs incurred for the translated part of the work.

SUMMER VACATION HOURS
From June 30 to August 8, 2025, our opening hours will be as follows:
Interpreting & Translation Department: Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; additionally on Thursdays: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Information & Counseling Department: Regular hours, but closed the week of July 28 through August 1, 2025 .
Courses Department: Monday through Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
